Be careful what you wish for.........
Because you just might get it!!!!! Well, in this case that is a good thing.......I woke up feeling very generous today and decided how about giving something away.......but, I want to hear from you. What do you like??? I made another black velvet pillow with the rhinestone brooch and you can have that if you choose, but if you have seen something else that I make that you would like to own, I would like to know about it. Just leave me a comment and tell me what you like and well, you just might get it!!!! I will put every ones name in a hat next Sunday, January 9th and on Monday I will let you know who the winner is. Isn't this exciting?? Exciting for me because I like feedback, I want to know what you would like to have for your very own. So I hope you play along. Cheers, lauri

Everything you make is so pretty and has such a classy vintage style- but I think my favorites are the "frenchy" looking pillows and the ones with the laurel wreaths.
ReplyDeletehey girl, i like everything you make but i loved those nubby pillows you had at the last show.
ReplyDeletehugs,
shelley
I LOVE IT ALL...I wish I liked to sew, I'd make all my own baggy peasant linen shirts, you know the ones that hide your over the hill baggage and if only that darling Paris Chateau pillow said Pink Chateau...I'd be in heaven!!!
ReplyDeleteI sure hope we can get together some time too, I'm gonna have to work on that 2nd bedroom project this summer so I can have those pajama parties and TOT won't have to sleep on the floor, although it makes for some great conversation...TOT of the COT...what a hoot!!!
Love the new blog, very professional for the look you've created with your designs...I knew her when...LOVE IT!!!

I like to sew as well and am glad that I was forced to learn at the age of 8...now I am 52 and am still sewing. I love your pillows and can't decide if I like the number pillows or the monograms better. Love your giveaway. Terry
ReplyDeleteYou know what I like!
ReplyDeleteI will add you giveaway to my blog, if that's ok!

I love all your creations and I have enjoyed your blog for quite awhile. The french wording on the pillows are one of my favs.
ReplyDeleteI have enjoyed lurking on your old blog and am now bookmarking this one. Lauri, I LOVE your style and should I be blessed to win your giveaway. I would enjoy a burlap pillow sporting a large ampersand right in the middle. :D I don't know if you have put those two together yet . . .

The black pillow is just stunning! I love the French inspired pillows from your previous post too.
ReplyDeleteI never learned to sew, and really don't have the desire. But I do admire those who can create most anything out of fabric.
Laurie, I am over from Tot's though I was a follower of your last two blogs! This one is gorgeous....elegant and classy!
ReplyDeleteI love the linen looking pillows....so pretty! But I think really, I love it ALL!

I wish I had found your earlier blog before this but I looked it through it; am switching my living area to the burlap/white/chippy/Parisian look, so far helped by white walls and several Home Depot dropcloths and I LOVE it. I like your chair covers and like the others have said, am curious about the nubby pillows.
ReplyDeleteLove the blog Lauri - very nice! Looking forward to seeing you at Lakewood - and - Happy New Year! David
ReplyDeleteLauri - Like the new blog! Will be checking in often!

Sweet Tot sent me over! Loved reading the Chippy's blog but I think this may become one of my favorite places to visit!
ReplyDeleteI love to sew too but I could never make such wonderful creations as you! I'm really digging the french word pillow and the pillow with the big numbers. Count me in the giveaway, 'kay?
There's absolutely no way I could resist ANYTHING you make, Lauri! Your 'eye' for what to do with the fabrics and remnants of history that you find is incredible. I just wish there was a way to woo you to be my personal seamstress! Love, love, love what you make~~~
