My Rachel Ashwell's Prairie Experience........

Well, I have to tell you the highlight of my trip to Texas was being included in the group of 35 bloggers who were invited to lunch at, The Prairie by Rachel Ashwell. I have to thank Kelley Copeland, Bud Royer and of course Rachel Ashwell for hosting such a fabulous event. And in a sense it was a dream come true for me to be able to see her style first hand and not just in a book. She is such an inspiration to us all, and just a delightful person to be around. And then to spend the day with other bloggers, and eat the most delicious food ever, was just mind blowing. The lunch was to benefit in part Dwell with Dignity, a Dallas based non-profit group. I was lucky to get to stay the whole day and shop in the store which was a true experience. I was so taken my the fact that the store was just recently moved on the property because you would have thought it had been there forever. Such a quaint little farm house that you could live in too. Then at the end of the day we were all given these fabulous goodie bags and many folks won door prizes. Can this get any better???? Only in that we were allowed to take lots of photos to be able to remember the experience. Which I will never forget. Rachel led a tour through the main house and explained how the Prairie came to be. This was such a treat, hope you enjoy the pictures as much as I enjoyed myself. Feeling so blessed for this experience. Cheers, lauri

I loved her story board. love the way she puts her ideas out there for inspiration.
