More Texas Favs

Alice and Jay from Sasser, Georgia are just the cutest couple and the most creative you have ever seen. They make most of their stuff out of old pieces, they are not to be missed. I always have to have something of theirs. They have a store in Sasser, so check them out if you are nearby.

We fell in love with this horse hair chaise, sorry didn't get the name of this vendor.

Another one of my favs is 'Skip to my Loo', always have to check her out. Crazy about these bracelets, made of old silver brushes.

Marburger Farms Spring 2011, My Favs

First up, my neighbor, Sweet Pea Home, Shelley Price, love her look, she always brings the best stuff, and puts it together like magic.......

The rusty old farms sign was the best, where does she get this stuff?????

Two of my favorite, beautiful people.......Judy Hill and Shelley

My other neighbor, Time worn interiors, Theresa Smith, with her unique industrial look.....

Across in Tent A, we visit this tent daily, so many fabulous folks in here, but the best in my book, is the Amazing Judy Hill, nobody does it like Judy, and she always has the best stuff. And is the sweetest person you will ever meet, I was lucky enough to get to visit with her some this show, and get some very good advice, hope she rubbed off on me ..........

Robin Brown, Magnolia Pearl with all her talent is always a show stopper, this time she had made this wonderful bird cage out of a dress form and it had live doves in it. So sweet!!!!

always love to go in before the show opens and see all the clothes, just can't get enough of them.

Next, my all time favorite look is Carolyn Westbrooks Home, she always impresses with the most beautiful display, I was loving this pink......

I 'bout lost my mind when I saw this bed and vanity, yes, it has pink marble, I have no place for it, but boy did I want it!!!!!

Hope you enjoyed my favorites, and next time come see for yourself.......Cheers, lauri

Texas Whirlwind

I have spent six months dreaming about my next trip to Texas and now that it has come and gone it seems like a dream. I have spent this week trying to recover from the trip obviously my body is trying to tell me something. Like you are not 25 anymore, and you can't drive for 12 hours at a time!!!! But, all in all it was a fantastic trip. If, you have never experienced Texas, there are no words to explain the fun, friends, and well, junk. Once again it was a fabulous show with lots of shoppers and sweet, kind folks. And on top of all the setting up, spending time with friends, shopping, and parties, the highlight of my trip was when Sue Whitney of JunkMarket, filmed a segment for a television show in my booth!!!! I was stunned.......trust me it was huge. There are 350 vendors at Marburger Farms and for her to even consider my booth was a huge compliment. Thanks Sue for the love...... Anyway, I had so much fun, I can't wait to show you all my photos and share the stories. But, till then here is my space at Marburger Farms Spring 2011.......
